My Favorite Time of Year

Another weekend has almost passed. I did get a lot done. Did some fall cleaning all day yesterday and tried to fix some things. Didn't get it all done but I feel like I accomplished a lot. It seems there never is enough time to get things done when you work.

I put the litter box up that was in the living room due to my cat, Pumpkin, and his wetting issues. He seems to be doing ok for now. We've been down this road for over 10 years now. Anyway, I cleaned the litter box I have it ready for storage. I put the cat condo on that side of the room in hopes that Selena, my gray kitty, would like it. Valentino, my black and white kitty, has taken over the cat tree and everything else on that side of the room. Well, it's a big hit! Selena has been all over the condo again now that it is out of Valentino's territory and is loving it. I'm glad to see her so happy.

I'm still trying to watch my eating. It is hard when you like to cook and eat but at least I've lost the few pounds I'd put on in the past few weeks. Now if I could just work on the ones I've put on in the last 10 years that are quite a few more. LOL It is hard when you get older and you work long hours.

I got a PS4 on Wednesday. I had ordered it online and it finally came. I started playing Batman: Arkham Knight, the game that came with it. It is really fun so far. I LOVE driving the Batmobile! I'm stuck at one part now so I'll have to give it another go.

Well, the Heart of Thorns expansion comes out on Friday and so does the Guild Wars 2 Halloween events. Friday is my day off so I plan to get up like normal for work to play. This is why I have been trying to get stuff done this weekend. Hopefully I can stick with that plan because it seems something always comes up when I think I will have some time for myself to play games. My mom has to go to the ER, the car breaks down or something breaks in the house. Those are typical things that tend to happen when I think I will have a relaxing weekend. What happened to the days when I could spend all day and night playing a video game? This adult thing sucks.

At least fall is almost here, the weather is cooling down and the holidays are coming. This truly is my favorite time of year!
